2019 Events Review

PLSG Annual Training Course 2019

2019's PLSG Annual Training Course featured a range of sessions with inspirational speakers from across the audio, lighting, event management, system integration and AV technology sectors. Two training themes were delivered in concurrent sessions:

  • Theme 1 <Maintaining and Modernising Performance Venue>
  • Theme 2 <Overview of AoIP Networking and Media System Integration>

PLSG Outdoor Line Array

The large-scale outdoor line array demonstration has expanded even further at the 2019 show, with four major exhibition areas in 1.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 held concurrently for the first time. Among them, there were eight overseas well-known audio brands displaying high-quality sound with ’double string’ line arrays, providing participants with a moving auditory experience in a concert setting.

Jointly organised by the Audio Engineering Society of China and Chinese Institute of Electronics, 2 audio experts shared on the latest techniques on acoustic division control and the future prospects and technical challenges in remote smart interaction (recognition and decoding).

 

PLSG19_Visual Jockey2

PLSG hosted its first interactive multimedia display, the Lighting and Art Space, in cooperation with Chinese media giant Visual Jockey. The area was established to showcase new media technologies associated with 3D mapping, stage machinery, lighting installation, new media art, stage tech innovations and more. The area featured a total of 18 professional visual and display companies and brands,  demonstrating their latest projection and display systems, and was bustling with intrigued visitors throughout the show.

PLSG has worked together with the Guangdong Association of Stage Art on the launch of the 1st Manuscript Showcase of Stage Art Design in Guangdong, under the theme Traces: Visible Thinking. Designers from the stage art, lighting, costume, makeup, props and sound design sectors will showcase their ‘visible thinking’, and will nourish the show with a hint of artistic nature.
