Prolight + Sound Guangzhou achieves a record breaking increase in visitors and exhibitors, reflecting a bright industry outlook
Held from 16 – 19 May in Areas A & B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) recently concluded its largest edition yet with 82,740 visitors in attendance. Industry peers were delighted to once again gather at the physical fair to make face-to-face business connections and discover the latest products and innovations across 150,000 sqm of exhibition space, including 15 thematic halls and three newly introduced “Immersive Experience Zones”.

With business opportunities available both online and at the fairground, this year’s Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) is more accessible than ever before. Opening from 16 – 19 May, the 2021 edition is hosting 1,386 exhibitors in Areas A & B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, while the new ‘PLSG21: Live and Online’ digital platform is running concurrently to deliver high quality sourcing, networking and educational opportunities to participants around the world.
Digital trends to take centre stage at this month’s Prolight + Sound Guangzhou
In terms of product variety and trade fair services, “Digital” is the buzzword set to dominate this year’s Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG). Across a variety of newly launched elements, including three “Immersive Experience Zones” and an online business matching platform, the organisers are busy making one final push to deliver as much show content as possible. Opening from 16 – 19 May in areas A & B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, the physical fair is set to become the largest edition yet, with 1,386 exhibitors taking part across five product categories of pro audio, pro lighting & stage equipment, communication & conferencing, media systems & solutions and KTV & Theatre K. pub.
Prolight + Sound Guangzhou introduces new digital tools for its 2021 edition
To adapt to the “new normal”, the organisers of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) have unveiled details of enhanced digital services to run alongside the upcoming physical edition. PLSG was the first pro lighting and audio trade fair to resume in China during the critical period in 2020. And this forward-thinking spirit will be continued in 2021 not only at the physical event, but also via the new "PLSG21: Live and Online" initiative which has been introduced to foster a global marketplace, and to gather, support, and inspire professionals from all over the world with the latest products and innovations.
Prolight + Sound Guangzhou 2021 to spotlight “Tech meets culture” among its 15 thematic halls
The pro AV and entertainment fraternity is eagerly awaiting the 19th edition of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG), which returns to areas A & B of the China Import and Export Complex from 16 – 19 May. With less than four months remaining before it opens its doors, exhibitor participation has exceeded expectations. The 2021 fair is set to surpass the scale of past editions, with 15 thematic halls spanning 150,000 sqm. Among many highlights on the show floor will be the “Tech meets culture” concept, which will take centre stage in hall 12.2.
