Dimming the lights on 25 May, the 2023 edition of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) has illuminated a strong outlook for the global entertainment and pro AV industry, with a significant 61% increase in visitors reaching 85,046 – a new high. The four-day show also featured over 50 fringe events and showcased 1,403 exhibitors across 130,000 square meters of exhibition space, representing a 35% growth from the previous edition.

Opening from 22 – 25 May 2023 in Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, the 21st Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) is set to cater to market demand for advanced professional AV and entertainment technology. This edition is featuring 1,403 exhibitors, marking a 35% increase from last year, and even surpassing the pre-pandemic exhibitor numbers in 2019. With 13 thematic halls and the Y-channel demonstration area covering 130,000 sqm of exhibition space, PLSG will once again serve as a hub for global collaboration and production.

As the largest entertainment and pro AV trade fair in China, the upcoming Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) is set to assist industry players to embrace the trend of digitalisation in China. Scheduled to take place from 22 – 25 May 2023 in Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, the 21st edition will deploy strategic hall planning across 13 thematic halls and the Y-Channel demonstration area spanning 130,000 sqm of exhibition space.
Prolight + Sound Guangzhou gives fairgoers the inside track on the industry’s future
The curtains have fallen on another vibrant edition of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG), which celebrated its 20th anniversary edition from 25 – 28 February. The fair continued its upward trajectory in terms of new product offerings, with participants noting a stronger emphasis on digitalisation and system integrations at the show. A major highlight was the fair’s ‘Tech meets culture’ theme, which received praise from the industry for showcasing the next level of installations of audio and visual equipment for all types of venues and buildings.
Prolight + Sound Guangzhou: the first major pro AV and entertainment industry event of 2022 gets under way
The largest pro AV and entertainment trade fair in China, Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) will open its doors on 25 February, welcoming 1,041 exhibitors across 14 thematic halls in Areas A and B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex. With the final countdown almost over, the fair’s participants are preparing to celebrate the 20th anniversary edition of one of the most influential trade fairs for the industry. Alongside an extensive range of products available to trade buyers at the fairground, the fair’s digital business platform ‘PLSG: Live and Online’ will deliver sourcing and networking opportunities to international buyers around the globe.
